Fast Track Energy Projects with Moduler Power Plant Solutions

Project Detail: At the request of Contour Global Bonaire PP, ILTEKNO was given the contract for the reconstruction of one Generator Unit. After signing the contract, Iltekno started the engineering work in-house, incorporating lessons learned from a previous project completed in 2019. At the heart of the unit is a single MAN 9L 21/31 Engine. During the modification phase, depending on site conditions, Iltekno started to manufacture the container unit at its own facility. Production was completed at the end of February 2024 and the last shipment left Kocaeli Dilovası for Bonaire Island on April 6. Iltekno handled the project with its own manpower, including engineering, fabrication, mechanical/electrical disassembly, assembly, automation and pre-commissioning and commissioning. The entire project was completed within 8 months, from contract signing to the reliability study (electricity generation for the island). Iltekno's ability to utilize its own manpower, being flexible enough to work globally, and its own production facility, which was able to gather all materials in one location, enabled the assembly to be done efficiently before it arrived on site. The production team also set up the same unit on site, saving time and retaining knowledge throughout the project. Iltekno completed the project on time, satisfactorily meeting all required quality standards.
