With 35 years of corporate experience in the field of EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Installation), İltekno professionals, who produce turnkey projects in different continents of the world and in various climatic and country conditions, came together in the “Project Management in Energy Projects” training, which was created with institution-specific analysis for current conditions and needs between September 9-26.
The training covered project management processes, tools, techniques and standards with examples and practices. The aim was to provide our stakeholders with up-to-date knowledge and skills that will make a difference in the sector by blending them with our experience.
The topics of the hybrid training organization included basic concepts such as work breakdown structure, scope, risk-cost relationship, scheduling techniques and earned value management. Modern approaches such as lean management techniques and emotional intelligence were also discussed. Tricks were shared on topics such as procurement in projects, creating tender packages, scoring methods, work program status analysis, contract processes and claims. On the first day, practices such as project initiation document, team ground rules and MBTI test were also included.
With the participation of mechanical and electrical project departments and other departments such as automation, sales, business development, service and quality, solution-oriented approaches to common problems in project design, implementation and service operations were developed. Our agile way of doing business was strengthened by combining project management methodologies with the possibilities offered by our technological systems.
The 35-hour organization, which started with the opening speech of our CEO Dr. A. Nihat Dilek, who closely followed the training program, was completed with the certificate delivery on the last day with the participation of Dr. Dilek and our HR & Business Support Director M. Serdar Dülger. We would like to thank our trainer Dr. Taylan Ulaş Evcimen, who prepared the “Project Management in Energy Projects” training program in line with the analysis specific to İLTEKNO, for his efforts.
This event, which brought together participants from different departments, improved our technical and methodological aspects by addressing the processes subject to training from different perspectives, while strengthening our shared corporate culture.
